The Bank of Missouri’s William Street location is conveniently situated near I-55 and Wal-Mart in Cape Girardeau. This branch serves as a banking hub for Cape Girardeau and the surrounding areas. It is also the central hub for the bank’s Investments & Retirement Planning Division. Penzel was the design-build contractor on this project and utilized a cost-plus-not-to-exceed agreement to complete the 19,400-square foot project in the summer of 2003. Initial plans required finishing out the basement and first floors only, with the unfinished second floor available to accommodate future needs. Growth dictated that the unfinished area would be used for executive offices and a boardroom. Penzel provided design-build services and, during Winter 2006-2007, completed the interior build-out of the second floor.
