SoutheastHEALTH Primary Care Center

Project Scope: New primary care facility
Owner: SoutheastHEALTH
Location: 2600 E. Main Street, Jackson, Missouri
Project Delivery: Construction Management

Penzel Construction was selected as construction manager to complete this new 11,652-square-foot medical office building in Jackson, Missouri. The new clinic includes 10 exam rooms, one procedure room, onsite x-ray equipment, ultrasound and lab services, and a retail pharmacy with a drive-thru. For improved efficiency and maintenance, a state-of-the-art Trane HVAC system was installed. Wood sliding sound-proof doors were also used to save space and minimize noise. The facility is designed to accommodate future expansion, up to 20,000 square feet.

The $4 million project took 11 months to complete. Progressive permitting was utilized to allow civil engineering and foundation work to start early. This resulted in enabling the Penzel Team to complete the facility ahead of schedule. Clay Randol served as project manager and Mike Williams was the superintendent on the project.

Southeast Primary Care of Jackson continues SoutheastHEALTH’s commitment to position high quality, low-cost healthcare services across southeast Missouri. This project and the investment it requires underscores our commitment to Jackson and the surrounding region, and will be grounded in the principles of evidence-based practice, and exceptional patient and family experiences.
