Saxony Lutheran High School

Project Scope: Addition to school building
Owner: Saxony Lutheran High School
Location: 2004 Saxony Drive, Jackson, Missouri
Project Delivery: Design-Build

As part of the school’s response to a growing student population, Penzel Construction was brought in to construct two additions, or wings, to the existing structure built in 2004. The 11,000-square-foot main level additions included nine new classrooms, wider hallways, a larger library and a storage area. The 3,500-square-foot lower level addition was constructed for storage purposes.

I was very impressed by both your workers as well as the subcontractors who worked with you to complete this project. I also was very impressed with the flexibility and cooperation your workers had as little things came up. I also wanted to let you know the design-build concept was a new one to me, one I was wary of at first. But after going through the process, I feel it was easily the best decision we made to get this expansion completed
