City, Penzel Construction recognized for remodeling work

The City of Jackson and Penzel Construction Company were recognized for the craftsmanship used in the replacement of the roof of the Jackson Police and Fire Complex which was heavily damaged during the 2003 tornado.  The plaque read: ‘2004 VP Buildings Hall of Fame, Built by Penzel Construction Co., Inc. presented to City of Jackson for Jackson Public Safety Facility, Jackson, Missouri in recognition of Excellent Craftsmanship and Construction of an Outstanding Building.’  Pictured from left are: Aldermen Larry Cunningham, Kerry Hoffman, Val Tuschhoff, and Phil Penzel; Mayor Paul Sander; and Aldermen Dale Rauh, Dave Reiminger and Joe Bob Baker.  Not pictured is council member Barbara Lohr.
